Bikers Against Child Abuse isn’t the only organization facing this kind of issue: So Are 1% Motorcycle Clubs

Imagine my shock waking up to a news story that featured some sick scumbag arrested for crimes targeting a child. John Todaro, 49, was arrested Wednesday, April 9 and charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.

We see these kinds of stories in the news all the time. It’s the sick society that we live in now unfortunately. What shocked me was this guy was a member and Vice-President of a BACA Chapter in Buffalo New York.

Bikers Against Child Abuse is an organization that Insane Throttle really likes to support. There main mission is, “No Child Deserves To Live in Fear.” I believe that should be everyone of us thoughts when it comes to our kids. They shouldn’t have to face the fear of an abuser. It’s our job as parents, grand parents, brothers and sisters to ensure we protect our kids.

One thing about the biker community that I love so much is we love our kids. Bikers will do anything and everything to protect our kids from harm. So when I saw this article it not only disgusted me, but I lost some faith in humanity once again.

WHAT KIND OF MONSTER WOULD WANT TO HURT A KID?

I never understood how an adult could take a Childs innocence from them. This world is fucked up enough – why take away some good years from a kid to be a kid? Sick pieces of shit like this John Todaro deserve no mercy if he’s convicted. Our country is facing a crises with these sick bastards harming our children.

This John Todaro is scum of the earth. He used his position and the trust of his members in BACA to stimulate his sickness. “promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child.” In other words, “Child Porn.” What’s not in the article is if he had children of his own. I would be scared for those kids if he did.

THIS ISN’T JUST A BACA PROBLEM

Bikers Against Child Abuse isn’t the only organization facing this kind of issue. 37-year-old Andrew Burdett Moore – a member of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club– was arrested for Possession or Promotion of Child Pornography with the intent to Distribute

This is another example of an individual who’s let down the biker community for his involvement in this sick shit. What’s worse, they got him with the intent to distribute this crap.

In his photo he’s wearing a shirt that says, “Bonafide 1%er.” This dude isn’t a 1%er, he’s a piece of shit who deserves a bullet in the head if convicted of these crimes. Idaho has passed a new law calling for the death penalty for sex offenders. I know it’s wishful thinking – I hope that crimes like these can get that penalty in all states. Tough action is what’s going to curb this kind of disgusting behavior.

After covering the story on Andrew Burnett Moore a month ago – I was hopeful to get a statement from the Bandido’s. Unfortunately they haven’t reached out to give one. One would’ve thought that a 1% motorcycle club would immediately come out and set the record straight on his membership. Is he still a member of your club or no?

If someone says it’s not others business they’re wrong. For years people have been saying, “motorcycle clubs not gangs.” Now we have a motorcycle club where one of it’s members was arrested on Child porn with the intent to deliver. That’s not fitting that quote. To be honestly I don’t think the Bandidos support that kind of behavior or have anything to do with distribution of child porn. But by not putting out a statement saying as much people will continue to believe only law enforcements side of the story.

People are chasing patches – It doesn’t matter which one

This John Todaro for example. How much you bet he wanted to look like a Billy Badass so he went wherever he could to get a patch? This is one of the biggest issues facing the motorcycle community right now. People are going to good organizations in order to get a patch so they feel like they have street cred. I see it in riding clubs that try and skirt protocols – Meaning they don’t want to put in the work but take the easy way. They take the easy way by just declaring themselves a riding club.

Once people with intentions other than what the organization stands for get in – They get their patch and are now Billy Badass. Once they get that patch they go against everything they’re supposed to be about.

To be honestly I don’t think the Bandidos support that kind of behavior or have anything to do with distribution of child porn.

We have to ask ourselves a question about this John Todaro. Did he use membership in BACA in order to further his access to kids? I know Bikers Against Child Abuse has a rigorous process for membership. More so than most 1%er clubs. What extra layer can they add in order to prevent something like this happening again? After all, this isn’t the first time that this has happened to BACA.

Should BACA have a mandatory membership process of at least two years? From my understanding it’s one right now. I don’t know what could help this from never happening again. It’s a shame we have these kinds of monsters in our society. I do know this happens in almost all organizations. It happens in Churches, Police Departments and whatever else you can think of.

What’s some of your thoughts? How can BACA and other organizations like it fight back and find these types of people in their clubs? I tried to reach out to BACA but their contact page doesn’t give any media relations link. Or any link whatsoever to email someone.
