PORTLAND, Maine — Four men charged in connection with last summer’s deadly fight on Forest Avenue will now be tried together, while one defendant faces a separate murder charge, and two others remain unaccounted for.
Caleb Pelkey, James Moody, Jason Keenan, and Nathan Walsh appeared in court Monday, where a judge ruled that their trials will be combined. Each man faces one count of conspiracy to commit elevated aggravated assault and two counts of elevated aggravated assault following the violent clash between motorcycle clubs in July 2024.
Attorney David Bobrow, who represents Pelkey, said it is not unusual for defendants in related cases to be tried together and that it could make the legal process more efficient.
