THUG RIDERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB – PUNISHMENT & RETRIBUTION Jul. 9—A trial date has been set for members of the Thug Riders Motorcycle Club accused of conspiring to commit violent crimes in Ohio and Kentucky. The gang is scheduled to go to trial on Oct. 20. “This date will not be changed unless there are extraordinary circumstances presented in a written motion,” wrote U.S. Southern District of Ohio Judge Michael Newman. Four members of the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang were brought to Volusia County from a Hillsborough County jail on July 7 to face charges in connection with a Bike Week shooting and brawl at a New Smyrna Beach gas station. The incident occurred on March 8 around 11:37 a.m. and left multiple people injured. Two motorcycle gang members were shot, Volusia County sheriff’s investigators said.
